South Beach is more about the sauce than the food. But never good to
rip it up on an empty stomach:
 | Prime 112: MUST try the stuffed lobster...INSANE; plus, bacon at the bar!
($$$$) |
 | Setai: this is actually a hotel, but they have an awesome restaurant
(just can't remember the name!)($$$$) |
 | Mr. Chow: a little more fun in South Beach than NYC! ($$$$) |
 | Casa Tua: fun scene and surprisingly solid food ($$$$) |
So, for the sauce, I recommend:
 | The one-stop shop is the Gansevoort Hotel. There is an awesome bar
(and pool) on the roof called Plunge. Clearly the best place to enjoy
the everything Miami offers.. There are also two "boutique" night clubs.
I've been to Louis and I would recommend it highly. The Gansevoort has
the best bartenders in the city. |
 | You should also check out the Florida Room in the basement of the Delano. |
 | The W also has a fun bar and nightclub, especially if there is a cool
event going on in the pool area. |
 | Finally, the Shore Club is hit or miss, but always a great outdoor venue. |
