You think you are trying to escape New York City, but you are really trying to escape the people. Every summer weekend, all of Manhattan packs up and retreats to the Hamptons. You now need to find a way to escape the Hamptons! Where could you go? The Berkshires? Not too far, but you might run into the Boston crowd. The Adirondacks? Perfect, but I dont know anyone there. The Catskills? Yes! The perfect place for the NYC getaway! A mere 2.5 hours northwest and you find yourself in Roscoe, a town with three renowned fly-fishing rivers running right through it.
