When in Miami, especially South Beach, when you are in your hotel room you should be
sleeping, getting ready to go out, or hungover. My recommendations:
 | Delano: definitely the coolest hotel in Miami; great pool, lobby, restaurants and bars;
if you don't stay here, hang out here! ($$$$) |
| The place next door to the Delano is also cool; forgot the name. |
| Loews: haven't stayed there, but it looks pretty good...a little less cool ($$$$) |
| Park Central: cheaper art-deco place right on Ocean Drive; location, location,
location...and the rooms aren't too bad; all about character ($$) |
| Some other hotel with interiors by Todd Oldham...pretty cool too. |
Avoid, at all costs:
| Le Fontaine Bleu: (Sorry Joe!) Words cannot describe how brutal this place
is, unless your granparents are picking up the tab! ($$$$) |
